PennDOT has announced the following road work projects in Schuylkill County:
Butler Township will see construction work on Big Mine Run Road between the Columbia County Line and Route 54. Expect daytime lane restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Butler Township and Girardville Borough will see construction work on East Mahanoy Avenue between Route 54 and Main Street. Expect daytime lane restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Work is scheduled to start today and is estimated to end on Friday.
Butler & West Mahanoy Townships, Girardville and Gilberton Boroughs will see construction work done on Main Street/Gilberton Road between Mahanoy City Borough and Route 54. Expect daytime lane restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Work is scheduled to start today and is estimated to end on Friday.
West Mahanoy Township on Morea Road will see milling and paving work on Morea Road between Frackville and Morea. Expect daytime lane restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Work is scheduled to start today and is estimated to end on Friday.
Butler, West Mahanoy, and Mahanoy Townships; Girardville and Shenandoah Boroughs will see construction work done on Route 54 between Ashland Borough and Mahanoy City Borough. Expect daytime lane restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

West Mahanoy, Union, and East Union Townships will see milling and paving work on Route 924 between Shenandoah Borough and Brandon Street. Expect daytime restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Work is scheduled to begin today and is estimated to end on Friday.
Mahanoy Township will see milling and paving work done on Route 54 between Mahanoy City and Barnesville. Expect daytime restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Work is scheduled to start on Friday and is estimated to end on Monday.
